Low mic volume

cam_sally

I have been having some troubles with low mic volume for a long time. It has been like this for my MMX300's and my older Siberia v2's. My mic volume is set to the highest it can go and program specific auto volume correction is disabled.

Anyone know any solutions?

Using the SupremeFX audio on Maximus VI Formula.

This maybe silly, but have you checked if the 'microphone boost/gain' in windows setup is on or not? Just go to control panel>sound>recording>mic properties, there should be a checkbox for this feature.

Also, I'd have the 'application specific volume control' (or something like that) enabled. Some applications like games have their own microphone boost/gain
