Hi I am building a PC for the first time. The motherboard I have purchased is compatible with the cpu I have purchased, with a BIOS update. Unfortunately I don't have an older cpu that I can use to perform the BIOS update, and my motherboard dose not support USB BIOS flashback. Is there a way to update the BIOS without either of those? Please help.

My motherboard is a Gigibyte B450 Aorus M

My CPU is a And Ryzen 3 3200G 2nd gen Processor

most b450 boards come with the new bios installed

if it did not come with one

just ask the vendor / a computer store to update it for you

I ordered it through Amazon so would I be able to take it somewhere to have them update it?

yes

go to a computer (assuming it does not have the bios which is most likely will ) and ask them if they can update it for you

If the box has a red label saying "ryzen 3000 ready" it does not need the update (and if it doesnt, it does).

Quite a few requirements for BIOS updates on that board. Make sure the person that does the job does it properly and not just try install only the latest BIOS version.

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

Don't forget to tag or quote in your reply if you want me to know you've answered or have another question.

What are the restrictions because I watched a few videos on it and in a couple of them the gigabyte website gave a bad download that just a few bios updates newer than the one it was supposed to be and it bricked the motherboard

Flash the BIOS on it via USB drive, but you'd still need an older CPU for that

If your talking about the bios flashback button

Then you won't be needing a cpu and not all motherboards have it
