Good bang for your buck office laptops
Mwraines replied to Mwraines's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Probably no more than $600USD -
So a friend of mine's laptop is dying. I want to surprise him with a new one but I don't know what to get or where to start. He would mostly be using it for light office work zoom and internet browsing. What should I get that is expensive but not cheap and unreliable

That is true but for the most part they are reliable
-
Here this is a good reliable psu https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W956JBC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_8l9CFbRCMYC8B
-
Don't buy that it is to cheap. Redragon isn't known for psu's and you will have no idea if is reliable or not
-
Most likely not you want to spend the money on a reliable psu fry a brand you know that you can trust. Corsair and EVGA are good brands for psu's
-
Most are but a few are from the Microsoft store what do I do about those

Hi I'm getting ready to build a new computer as I have sold my last. I pulled my hdd from it so then I don't have to reinstall my games. I have a 256gb m.2 ssd I want to put windows 10 and a game on it. I have very little knowledge of how hdd and ssd work and all that but I want to know if I have to clone windows 10 to the ssd or can I just install a copy of it on the ssd? Or would that mess something up My hdd is a 2tb Seagate barracuda drive

Best budget motherboard for Ryzen 7 3700x
Mwraines replied to Mwraines's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Well I'm trying to keep the overall budget under 1100$ and ok -
So I'm building a PC for gaming and some some editing and some light 3D modeling. I am wondering what the best budget motherboard for the Ryzen 3700x or if a different cpu would be better? My other specs are: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz EVGA RTX 2060 KO Ultra Gaming, 6GB GDDR6 EVGA 750 N1, 750W psu
