Laptop hard reboot under load

My Dell G5 15 SE will reboot under a load such as gaming or Unigine Valley. But what I find odd about this is under synthetic load it will peg the CPU at 100 C and GPU around 70 C and run there all day, no reboots. Could it be a problem with switchable graphics? I tried testing on Linux but that does not want to boot on this hardware.
