Audio output being taken as input

Hello, I'm using these headphones that have a 3.5mm mic cable, 3.5mm audio output cable, and a USB cable for lights. Pretty standard stuff. They're plugged into my PC's front ports (back ports don't work for some reason). My mic captures my voice input fine, and the audio output works good too. But the problem is, my mic also seems to be capturing the audio output. Whenever I'm on Discord or other similar apps, my friends can hear everything going on my PC - music, videos, in-game sounds etc. And no I don't have any speakers attached to my PC. I don't know how to solve this! please help me. I also suspect Realtek HD Audio Manager to be the culprit but I'm not sure.

For reference that's something called crosstalk and isn't something you want, it's possible that some wiring somewhere is broken (whether internally on your computer or within the headset I don't know) but beyond that I can't be much help, sorry.

Thanks a lot, I did not know its called crosstalk and whenever I googled my issue I didn't know what to search/didn't get any solutions. I will look further into it. I appreciate your help.
