Reinstalling Windows 10 which usb?

Go to solution Solved by GoodBytes,

UEFI. Unless you feel your computer is too fast for you and want to slow down its startup performance drastically, and reduce your system security, if you think it is also too high.

My brother needs to reinstall windows 10 due to some os issues. He wants to start fresh. Which USB version should he choose? UEFI or the standard USB?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I would go with UEFI..

CPU i5-9300H || Motherboard Lenovo OEM I guess..:p || RAM 2x8GB HyperX 2666Mhz CL15-17-17 @ 1.2V || GPU RTX 2060 || Storage 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Nvme + 2TB WD Blue Mobile PC Drive || PSU 230Watt laptop charger... not funny... || Display 1080p 144Hz || Cooling what ever lenovo decided was good enough..:3 || Keyboard White backlight || Mouse Logitech G305 Black ||  Operating System Win 10 Pro + BackBox 7 || Laptop Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH
