Just now, databreach said:The one on the cae is a 3-pin standard fan and the on the board I assume is a 4-pin PWM header. Is there any way I can plug the fan into that header or should I consider buying a PWM fan
The 4 pin PWM header on the motherboard can act as a 3 pin DC-DC header for a 3 pin fan header. This setting can be accessed in the BIOS and you do not need to purchase a PWM fan, unless you want more precise control of the fan speed (spinning lower than 50% speed for example)
