that case is great for carrying in a backpack or suitcase, wrapping with a towel or other soft cloth will prevent superficial damage like scratching. Are you travelling with a carry on bag only or are you also checking in a bag?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Wrapping in your clothes and/or towels would suffice

sounds like you got a lot of time to figure this out then given how international travel from the US will remain limited until theres a quick test or vaccine for covid 19

Also to prevent components moving/dislodging put something like a swabs of bubblewrap inside the case and you should be fine

If you can't carry it on I'd recommend removing your GPU and shipping it in the original box if possible. The way they throw shit around in checked baggage I wouldn't trust that GPU wouldn't be bouncing around and damage the PCIE x16 slots.

  • 3 weeks later...

I bought the REI 40L duffle to carry on my SFF PC, but if it wasn't on sale for ~$40 when I bought it, I would have bought this one since it has straps to attach to a roller bag, a water bottle pocket, and internal straps (you may have to get a male-female adaptor to fit them around your computer):
