FPS Drops in some games

Hello. I have an HP Omen with an i7-8750H and a GTX 1060, and in some games, my fps goes from 120 to 30 fps, with my fans at max. I've tried every method online, and I could not fix it. Please help, I'm getting depression. The temp goes to 97 centigrade for the CPU and 91 Centigrade for the gpu. How do I fix the fps drops as well as the thermal throttling?

fps drops are caused by thermal throttling. get a better case/more case fans, give it a good clean, modify the fan curves for the gpu fan.

It's a laptop, not a desktop. Should I remove the cover and dust it?

oh sorry, should have figured that out based on the cpu. thermal throttling is unfortunately common in laptops. yes, try to dust it. maybe get a cooling pad.

if your screen is 60hz and not 120, try to put in a fps cap at 60-70. that should keep your gpu cooler, so it won't throttle down to 30.

I tried that, but it didnt work. My fps still goes down to 20-30.
