My pc won’t boot

It won’t even show me the mobo screen I can’t get into the bios, it just turns on and spins all the fans to max infinitely. I built it 4 months ago and everything was fine until now. What do I do?

Did you change anything before it stopped working?

What are the full system specs? (CPU, Motherboard, etc.)

First and easiest thing to try is clear CMOS.

I was just reinstalling Mystic Light since I need to do it every time my power goes off because my motherboard turns red and I want it to turn off, and if I just keep the software on the pc it lights up my wraith prism in red too.

RTX 2070 Super EVGA XC

2x Corsair 3600mhz 8GB Ram (16GB)

Msi B450 Tomahawk Max (I hate it)

1. Unplug the machine.
2. press the power button a few times to discharge.
3. Open the side panel
4. find the small round silver battery on the mother board
5. remove that battery, and keep it removed for several minutes.
6. Put the battery back in. plug the machine back in, and try to boot.

I did this and it didn't work, then I removed the video card and put it back in and now it's working it appears.

Thank you, this fixed the issue for me. Does this mean I'm in need of a new battery?

Removing the battery like this clears the CMOS, aka, resets the BIOS to the default settings.

 

Therefore, this will solve a misconfiguration in the BIOS (bad OC, too low voltage, bad memory timings, etc) that would prevent a POST.

Either you had a corrupted bios or you input an incorrect setting in bios.

So, assuming I had left default MOBO settings on, have done nothing to cause a corrupt BIOS (assuming this implies I tried a faulty flash?) it would imply the battery is dead or running low rather? (MOBO is z97 SLI Krait from 2014?5?)

If you made no changes to the BIOS, and you suddenly could not POST, and clearing CMOS fixed the issue, then the battery would be a reasonable thing to suspect as the issue. If it keeps happening then you might try replacing the battery. Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.
