csgo runs really poor

gtx1060

 

every other game i run works just fine but when i run csgo the fps drops like crazy its like 30-40 fps.I did all types of troubleshooting from the guides shown by YT idk what to do  can anyone help?

Now what are your temps ? 

Res ? And graphical fidelity ?

The commonest problem is usually the drivers and/ or OS installation.

my os is windows 10 and in rainbow six seige and destiny 2 i get fps equal to anyother gtx 1060 would perform

temps are not an issue here 

my monitor is 1920x1080

my gpu just sits at 10-30% utilization while playing csgo only

but when i play any other game it runs just fine

Ddu the drivers 

Set the power limit slider to max and try that 

Make sure you have xmp / docp on

Check a video on how to use it

run gpuz while running csgo, check gpu clocks. i suspect it still in 2d mode.

click the blue question mark right of bus interface you can launch a render window that hogs 3d ultilisation. run it before csgo, hop in a bot match and close the render, see if clock drops.
