Mods usually delete one of the threads if you copy the same thing into another forum

Press this button to quote people, so they get notified of your reply.

Threads only get locked if they break the rules, or if people respond to them far after the last response to the thread.

It is not stated explicitly anywhere, but you're expected to 'bump' your thread after a time with no activity. You do by responding to your own thread, preferably with new info/questions.

And just be sure to quote people, so they are notified of your reply.

You will notice if a thread is locked. It gets a symbol that it's locked, you can't reply to it and the mod usually leaves a reply that it has been locked and why. Here is an example:

If your thread stops getting replies, it's probably because nobody is interesting in replying anymore. As far as I know, there are no "shadowbans" or stealthy thread locks on this forum.

You do by responding to your own thread, preferably with new info/questions.

If anyone (someone else or yourself) replies to your thread, it will get moved up in the sub-forum, which means users will more likely run into it.

You add more info, so there is more to respond to.

But keep in mind, most 'question' threads have a very short lifespan on this forum. You can't expect all users to first read a full page of posts from you and other members, before being able to respond themselves.

So at some point, it might just be better to start a new thread.

Now, I am not suggesting you to repost. I am rather suggesting, your original question probably somewhat got answered in the original thread, so now you may have different questions to ask. Those new question should of course be asked to the people who originally responded to your thread (so quote them all and ask), but if the new question deviates from the original question, you can surely make a new thread.

Did this thread get blocked?

No, neither did the previous ones. You are allowed to bump, by literally posting that word (or something else) in thread to get it more notice. Do keep in mind that not all topics or issues get solved. This forum is based on voluntary content, and there are times where people just don't have answers.

If you want to request thread to be locked or removed (or any other intervention from moderation), you can report it by clicking triangle with exclamation mark.
