Can you guys recommend the top essential apps for overclocking, benchmarking, stress testing for stability, and monitoring?

 

So far I have CPU-Z, GPU-Z, HWInfo, Cinebench R20. I know there are more, but would like to know what the best ones are. Is Prime95 good for stress testing the CPU for stability or is there something better? I am on an Intel platform btw. I read that you can use Cinebench as a stress test as well by setting it to loop.

MSI Kombuster is a good software for gpu stress testing. I don’t know anything else, sorry.

At prime 95 and aid64 and firestrike

Memtest86 and OCCT for memory ;)

It's a cpu all around stress test also it has AVX instructions

For overclocking the CPU I would suggest either performing in the bios or use MSI afterburner, Prime is a good stress test on the CPU, Cinebench is good as well, you should be able to get the results you are looking for by using either program. Bench testing GPU or stress testing, you can use the Heaven benchmark, Furmark for stress testing, Blender, all those work just fine, and depending on the make of your GPU you could use GPU Tweak II (Asus), I have never used MSI afterburner before but I think (and I could be wrong) you can OC a graphics card with it, EVGA has a client as well, if its a radeon card you can also use the radeon client, however I dont use this one at all, It likes to reset all changes after a full power off for some reason I cannot explain.
