What was upgraded? Might help to solve this.

DVI would be fine, but I can respect wanting to figure this out! :)

Btw, gonna turn in cuz I need sleep lol

If I take a long ass time to reply, that's why.

Its essentially a completely new system kind of. New mobo, cpu and ram. But kept my good ol' 1050ti. Was able to boot straight back into my windows without a reinstall....so maybe i should just do a fresh windows install.

I'm able to get hdmi output from my laptop into the monitor so I dont think anything with the monitor is wrong. Or maybe it's really fucky and its like kinda broken. lol

It could be possible that the HDMI port on your graphics card is just broken, if everything else works fine. Keep the $5 and buy yourself an ice cream.

Nope! I can use the HDMI port to output to other monitors.

Oh, interesting. I haven't really heard of an issue like that before. Everything is the same, minus the monitor? Same cable and whatnot?

Yep! I've got no idea either!

Were you able to try the 1050ti with the old motherboard+CPU+RAM?

I don't think a Windows reinstall would help with something like this considering you can't even see the BIOS.

The old setup had the exact same issue.

Just to confirm, when you detected the display in Windows, did you have it duplicating or extending the display in this option box:

Probably not the issue considering the fact it won't display the BIOS, but those could always be separator issues.

Also, have you tried POSTing+ going into the BIOS with both monitors connected?

Just asking because it may give a clue. Probably won't help, but it's good to try what you can!

Ill have a try later today.

Doesnt matter what setting I have selected under multiple displays, neither work.

That's what I was expecting, just asked to try and rule out some more possibilities.

Hey! I've got a kinda update/solution. I bought a Display port to hdmi and that seems to work perfectly!! Thanks for your help though.
