This game looks amazing, especially the plot and player choices.

Has anyone played these, which?

Please help me en-light on this decision.

Some people hail the original Deus Ex as one of the greatest PC games, but it keep in mind that the graphics are going to look pretty dated. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is pretty great too, and with the Director's Cut they released, the boss fights (which were the weakest part of the game) were re-done. I haven't played that new edition to see for myself, but still, the rest of the game makes up for it.

People usually say Invisible War is kinda horrible, and The Fall is...a mobile game. A lot more linear, and trying to do a shooter on a touchscreen can be a little awkward. I have it on my Nexus 7, but I've only gotten like 10 minutes into it.

So yeah, I definitely recommend DE: Human Revolution, and probably the original Deus Ex too. They should be pretty cheap now, even off sale.

The original one, no doubt about it. I've played through it in its entirety

seven times by now, my favourite game ever (and it's a long game if you're

thorough, which I always am).

It's not necessarily the objectively best game ever (though I'd certainly

rate it as very good), but there's just something about the story, the

characters and the setting which makes me connect with it in a way

I've never been able to with any of its successors, or any other game

for that matter (except the Metal Gear Solid series). And that, more than

anything else, is what makes a great gaming experience for me personally:

Connecting with the universe into which I'm put.

EDIT:

Human Revolution is pretty good too, I can certainly give it a thumbs

up, it's just that I have a particular weak spot for the original. ;)

EDIT 2:

Invisible War is not really a bad game IMHO, it's just a bit... bland.

Yeah, that's probably how I'd put it. There's just something missing

which I can't quite put my finger on. Plus I wasn't quite happy with

the story from what I recall, although it's been so long since I last

played it that I can't really remember any specific points of criticism.

Scionyde and alpenwasser

Thakns for your input.

It seems graphic bS is something I will like to avoid.

So I will get into DE human revolution.

Is there any preliminary story knowledge involved form past games?

Or DE human reovlution is a game of its own? rather then a sequel.

"indivisible" != "invisible" ;)

(The actual game title is "Deus Ex: Invisible War")

It's a prequel actually. There are quite a few easter eggs, especially referencing

the original game, but all in all you can enjoy DX: HR very much without having played

the first two games.
