Upgrading my 2006 Mac pro's gpu help

I wanted to put either a RX 580 8gb or RX 570 8gb in my Mac pro 2006 but I'm not sure if they are compatible because it's apple and I intend on running windows on it.

I got a mac pro 2006 and a rx480, let me test it. Give me a bit. Im gonna guess it will work fine.

 

But it won't work in osx, newest version is 10.11, and that won't support a rx480

EDIT: tested it, workes fine.
