What the crap is with chrome these days??!

I was using chrome searching for a solution of a problem I faced and suddenly it's not responding then I saw this image.thumb.png.a0c97c8efcce91bbd843359d2eaa0f9a.png

I have a dell inspiron 15570 can any body tell me how on earth chrome sucked a 16 GB of RAM and bushed an intel core i7-8850U to it's limits it happens randomly I tried reinstalling it and didn't help...

Don't be too quick blaming the browser

Right click empty space on top right -> Task Manager -> find tab/extension using resources

Not sure about you, but I have seven ebay tabs open and two schoolwork tabs and Chrome is only using about 800MB of RAM.

Chrome is fine most of the time it's rarely happens but when it do it become so frustrating.

I frequently have dozens of tabs open at the same time and it never uses more than, at the ABSOLUTE MOST, 2-3GB of RAM. I think this is either a problem with Windows or the tabs you have opened.

I routinely run 10-15 tabs, and rarely have issues with memory from Chrome (16GB in system). When I do, it's typically from one single tab and closing that remedies the situation. I think there's only really been one time where closing certain tabs didn't work and I had to close everything.

the web as a whole is getting more and more complex and resource intensive. this isn't the fault of chrome.
