What’s the best pc for this price range?

Go to solution Solved by Slottr,

I just wanted to chime in,

Yes building a PC is generally cheaper and will always recommend it. You learn a lot and there’s an entire community behind every topic that’s available for help where you need it.

That being said: the markets for parts are very off right now and you may end up buying a pre built system for that reason alone. So in that case, buying a pre built isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but you’ll definitely be getting less for your money than you would ~6 months to a year from now.

OP needs the part list in british pounds not USD, if you make the part list in USD with US merchants the pricing is off and some parts available in the US are not in the UK.

Don’t know how

You should check Carey Holzman's youtube channel. He does a lot of builds in a lot of detail without a ton of editing. And you'll get a ton of support on this forum about making wise choices in components for the money. It's really not hard and will give you a skill you'll use the rest of your life.

no. the prebuilt

  • doesn't have an SSD
  • doesn't have good CPU
  • doesn't have good enough GPU

and the build-it-yourself

  • doesnt have enough RAM
  • doesn't have good CPU
  • could have more storage

dont do that build.

  • nvidia isn't good for the c,oney
  • get more RAM
  • better CPU for same price
  • mobo socket is bad it is the worst one

we keep on telling you to do better ones for less price.
