@TofuHarotoBut my question says 730 right???

The 1030 is much better than the 730....

The 730 is too weak to take advantage of 4GB VRAM.

Be sure to get the GDDR5 version of the 1030.

I am in a dilemma, where I can choose either of the GPUs I mentioned in the title. I have a core2duo E7500 CPU with Intel DG41RQ with 3 GB 667MHz memory, it has PCIe 1.0 support. Both of the GPUs have same price on amazon.in, but I cannot decide which one should I choose. Another thing which might be worth considering is the 1030 does not have a VGA output, which my 1366*768 monitor is unfortunately equipped with, but I do have a HDMI to VGA converter lying around. Can someone help me choose the right GPU??

The 1030 will do better with it's faster frame buffer but are you planning on playing and actually using it or just as a monitor output ?

Then if you have an active adapter the 1030 will absolutely crush the 710

Well, the motherboard actually has PCIe 2.0.

I would generally recommend a newer product, such old games will not need such a large frame buffer. Also, if you are interested in watching YouTube without modifying the browser configuration, the 1030 with its VP9 hardware decoder will be the much better deal.

@BenjiI just checked the manual it doesn't say PCIe Rev 2

for the price range, you can probably find an rx570, which will be more than twice as good.

In my country, RX570 is on average 5000-6000 indian rupees expensive than 1030.
