Cpu temps running 89c after installing new AIO

I just installed the new ekwb AIO and now my temps are sitting at 89c in the bios. What did I do wrong. I plugged it in the same as the previous Corsair AIO that had no problems. It feels like there is water being pumped through the AIO. Attached are pictures of the temps in bios and the mobo lights. I’m just not sure what I did wrong

Did you remove any plastic film that was on the bottom of the coldplate?

If you did or there wasn't any then reseat the block. Clean off the thermal paste from the AIO and the CPU, reapply your thermal paste to the CPU and then remount it.

My guess is cooler paste or some sort of water flow issue.  Could be a fan issue but it would take time for temps to build to that after it was off for a while.  If they go right to throttle it’s because heat isn’t getting out of the cpu.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Thank you both for the quick replies. I found out that I installed the two mounting brackets on each side of the block upside down and now we are sitting at 32c. Thank y’all again and I’m sorry for the stupidity
