So I just OC'd my Strix 1080 and wanted to test out Witcher 3 performance on it. Um, I know I'm supposed to use GPU-Z or another monitoring software but isn't task manager also supposed to show me that my GPU is being used. I mean 1% usage seems to me that the game is running off my iGPU on my 6700k. If the answer is the obvious one where task manager doesn't display directx11 usage then just laugh at me but don't insult me. But if I've been playing the game on my iGPU this whole time I swear I'll pop a blood vessel.

Thank You in Advance! :)

Task manager's gpu percentage has never been accurate for me... I would double check it with 3rd party software like HwInfo

Yeah mine in task manager is never accurate, mostly on Vulkan and DX11 games, DX 12 games usually the percentage lines up with GPU-Z within a few percent.

You really should be using GPU-Z if you want an accurate percentage.

Quote me or @TwilightRavens if you want me to see your reply. I may go inactive for a long time from time to time because I forget how to socialize, but I will be back... eventually.
