What is the Project URL for LinusTechTips on BOINC?

There isn't a LTT "project", but there is a LTT team on the various projects out there. So join whatever projects interest you, then you can join the LTT team on that project.

I need the project URL to join because i'm folding on android...

If I'm not misunderstanding here, if you want to fold it doesn't go through BOINC but has its own client. I don't think folding is on Android.

Got a link to it? I can't find it. All I see is BOINC, which isn't folding, and some folding stats apps by other people.

Ok, that is BOINC. Nothing to do with folding, which I believe is only on PC and Mac.

 

If you want to do something similar to folding through BOINC on Android, try World Community Grid. One of their subprojects is working towards Covid-19, and that is apparently available for Android. They also have some other subprojects so if you sign up, you can change your preferences through their web site what you will contribute to. Again, once you have signed up, you can also join the LTT team through the website. I'm not sure if this is possible through Android as it has been some time since I used it.

LTT doesn't host BOINC projects, but you can join the LinusTechTips_Team on the project's website or via BAM! on BOINCstats.

 

AFAIK, I don't think you can join a Team via the BOINC app.

1. Sign up for a BOINC project. Listed below are the popular ones, you can have a look at more BOINC projects on BOINC's site (Choosing BOINC Projects).

2. Join the LinusTechTips_Team (CANADA).
   • Via the BOINC Project's Website:
     • On your Account Dashboard, look for the "Team" field.
     • Select "Find a Team".
     • In the "Key Words" field, search for "Linus" or "LinusTechTips".
     • The search should return a LinusTechTips_Team. Select the team name.
     • On the Team's project site, select "Join this Team".
   • Via BAM! on BOINCstats:
     • Register for and log in to your BOINCstats account.
     • Select the Sign-Up for Projects tab.
       • If you haven't signed up for any BOINC projects, click on "» Sign-Up" on the far right of the table, and check the "Create Account" option. Hit "Save".
       • If you've already signed up for a BOINC project, find your project in the list, click on the "» Sign-Up" on the far right of the table, and check the "Find Account" option. Hit "Save".
       • A project has been added to your BOINCstats/BAM! account, but you'll still need to add a Team to that project. You can check whether a project has been added in the Projects tab.
     • Select the Teams tab.
       • Check all projects that you wish to add the LinusTechTips_Team to. Hit "Change/Join Team" at the bottom of the table.
       • In the "Team Name" field, enter "Linus" or "LinusTechTips".
       • Drop-down boxes should appear next to your projects. Select "LinusTechTips_Team (CANADA)".
       • Select "Change/Join Team" at the bottom of the table again, to save your changes.
3. Update BOINC Manager (PC) or BOINC App (Android) to reflect the recent changes you've made.
   • In BOINC Manager (Advanced View):
     • Go to the Projects tab.
     • In the left panel, select "Update" for each BOINC project.
   • In BOINC App (Android):
     • Go to the Projects tab via the hamburger symbol on the upper-right of the app.
       • If there are no projects listed, add a project to the app via the plus symbol on the upper-left of the app.
     • Tap on the BOINC project, then select "Update".
