So I haven't got much to say but this is crazy O.o

 

Oh yeah plus VAT it's £287.99, check it out here .

 

Whilst 290 prices skyrocket in the US looks like they're falling here in the UK :D .

I think a little bit of Schadenfreude is required here. Usually they pay quite a bit less for GPUs that we do in Europe. ^^

In my neck of the woods, nVidia has always ALWAYS carried a price premium, so regardless of prices elsewhere, it is ALWAYS expensive. I'd gotten my 2x Sapphire R9 290X at about 620USD each (cheapest R9 290X at newegg is about 700USD), most GTX780 are priced at that range here with perhaps a couple of brands at a smidgen lower......about 590USD. Take the MSI TF II GTX 780 for example, it's priced at 500USD over at newegg, but here in my neck of the woods, it's about 600USD. There are some cryptocurrency miners here, but not nearly enough to have any effect on the prices of AMD cards. Due to this cryptocurrency boon in the US, it seems that we here, for once, are getting much better prices for AMD cards......for nVidia, it's status quo, that is, it's always been high anyway.

Damn you I was about to sell my 270 then you had to run it by adding plus vat and I bet you have to add postage t o that
