4x 8gb or 2x 16 Trident Z Neo

Hey sup guys,

Trying to make my final choice with the ram I'm going to get for my build,

I heard the Trident Z is great for the ryzen 9 3900x

I heard alot of different views on 4x8gb vs 2x16gb   to make it 32gb total,

Which do you think would be better option?

Thanks

Given that they're the same speed & latency, 2x16. Ryzen is only dual channel, so you'd just be limiting yourself for future upgrades.

I'd go 2x16GB should be able to hit the rated speeds more easily, and it gives the option to upgrade to 64GB in the future.

It's not really white (if you're talking about the side).

Looks more like polished aluminum.

The white is just when the RGB lights are off (e.g. RAM unpowered).

If you like the TridentZ Neo, go ahead.

Personally, I just stick with the O.G. TridentZ or TridentZ RGB.

The diffusion layer is pretty thick, so it does well to not look hot spotty, but it's VERY white with no lights on or with light colors. Sides don't snow much depending on your case and what else is in it.

Which would you suggest does it really matter? I heard Timing 16-16-16-36 is best but its like almost $70 more,

Let me know which you would suggest :)

Thanks

What kits are available to you? Which kit is it that's $70 less?

So the 16-16-16-36 is $249

The $178 one is 16-19-19-39

The $163 one is 18-22-22-42

I think maybe the $178 might be best choice but I can afford the $249 worse case with my newegg store card
