Is my cooling adequate?

Hi everyone,

I just build a new PC for video-editing and a bit of gaming. I've got an AMD ryzen 3900x. Now I'm wondering if I have my cooling sorted out ok. I've got an intake fan in the front of my case and a exhaust fan at the back. I'm using the stock cooler that came with my cpu.

I've used HWiNFO to get the following numbers:

At idle the temp on the "cpu die (average)" in HWiNFO is between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius.

When Rendering a large 4k video file my CPU sits between 80 and 100 percent load. The temps are reading between 80 and 90 degrees Celsius on the "cpu die (average)" in HWiNFO.

Is my cooling good enough or is using the cpu with these temps inadvisable?

Thanks!

90 is pretty high but not dangerous ye the stock cooler isnt obv the best a 50 euro cooler would already do a way better job and a cpu that runs cooler wastes less power and runs a bit faster :D

90 is not recommend

I recommend investing in a nh u 12s for a not too expensive but adequate cooler
