Basically my grandparents have an old pc VERY old, it has an old AMD athlon x2, some old ass mobo, ddr2 ram. They got it in 2006-8 so that should tell you enough. Anyways I was looking making a cheap quad core system for around $200 just to be used for internet emails and youtube more or less. Does anyone have any used parts suggestions?

 

If new I was plannong on

AMD Ryzen 3 3200G 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor at $127.50

ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard at $69.78 

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory at 122.99

 

we have an existing case and fairly new psu (got it two years ago) So if anyone has any tips please do let me know!

You could also very easily find like a dell optiplex i5 with 8GB of memory and an SSD fro around $200 on ebay. If it's just a basic web browsing PC something like that would be perfectly fine.

Just buy a pre owned oem

make sure to get a ssd as well, it will make a massive difference.
