What is a good free fan control program (not speedfan)?

For system fans I just use the motherboard BIOS/UEFI and for video card fan control I use MSI Afterburner or EVGA PrecisionX (depending on what is supported).

why not speedfan tough? it is the most powerfull fan control option there is, excluding hardware fancontrollers.

These days, UEFI control is the best. For older boards with not so featured and in-depth UEFI control, SpeedFan.

For instance, I'm using SpeedFan with my Maximus VI Hero. because its UEFI control has a minimum fan speed of 60% only, AI Suite is too heavy on the system and uses an inaccurate sensor, showing the wrong CPU temp, always like 15ºC below the actual temp. SpeedFan has all the sensors, it's very complete and super light.
