RTX 2060 ROG STRIX AE vs RTX 2070 Turbo

I am going to build my first pc in few days and I am confused about pairing an Ryzen 3 3300x with either the above graphic cards as both their price is same in my country ( India )

that turbo will be loud and hot. but that rtx 2060 will be much worse. Can you get rx 5700. the 5700 is usually little better than rtx 2060 super

They are marginally expensive than this both. But if you feel it's better than 2070. I can go for that.

yea unless you are multi-tasking 3300x is way better value than the 3600 for gaming , i dont think the extra cores are gonna become essential for gaming any time soon. I kinda regret buying the 3600 , I bought it 2 weeks before the reveal of the 3300x , but hey its a good cpu and im happy with it.

The 2060 Super is pretty similar to a 2070 but you will be spared from the horrible Turbo cooler.

the Rtx 2070 turbo is a blower type cooler , meaning its gonna be loud and hot.

who makes blower coolers in 2020... but it does perform way better than an rtx 2060 with 2 more GB of vram meaning more future proof for graphics.

So i'd say as others said , look into an rx 5700 xt as it performs as good as an rtx 2070 super for the same price as an rtx 2070.

look for the rx 5700 xt Sapphire pulse , its the best one , runs cool and out performs almost any other brand for the same price.

Edit: I'd also suggest to do as I did , I built my pc 3 weeks ago and I got an amazing suggestion on this forum to buy a cheap budget graphics card for now that can handle the gaming u want and buy next gen on november or when ever they release. I bought a 1650 super and i'm waiting to see what AMD offers or the 3000 series with apperantly "x4 Ray tracing Performance" so I'm pretty sure next gen is gonna be insane value if the competition is right.

rtx 2070 is teh bets one but the loudest one. (pretty damm loud)

 

look for rx 5700s

 

used vega 64s / 1070 / 1070 tis/ vega 54s will do the job too

Right now. The 2060 and 2070 are same price and the RX 5700 and DUAL GEFORCE RTX 2060 SUPER   are slightly higher but I can afford them if they are worth it

RX 5700 has higher heat output than others so it relies on a good cooler even more, say Sapphire Pulse, Powercolor Red Dragon and Gigabyte 3 fan. The 2060 super Dual seems good.

My bad that I forgot to mention it. I currently have a 1080p 60 refresh rate monitor. If my pc is capable of handling 1440p may shift to that after few months

get the rtx 2060 super. you can get a new monitor anytime. are you playing apex? I have a similar setup and its runnin over 140fps on everythin max. just telling

They are almost the same price. The pulse RX 5700 and 2060 Super Dual. So which one should I go for ?

I currently have a potato pc. GeForce 210 and Intel duo, 2 gb ram.  Used to play on my Dell Inspiron Laptop with Intel 7th gen i3 processor

5700 for raw performance, 2060s for versatility (can run RTX at low frame rates at least, better video encoder for screen capture etc), lower power draw and longer warranty.

Plan to have this pc for a long time so gonna go for 2060s. Thanks everyone for helping me out. For a new beginner I learnt a lot about graphic card.

he can also hope that DLSS 2.0 becomes a thing in more than 4 games , cause if it does then its a feature to buy RTX cards, for now i wouldnt have much hope , give it 2 3 years.

I'm pretty sure they will, after the new consoles launch. They're hyperthreaded 8 cores so it would be foolish for game devs not to take advantage of that. So that translates to PC games too, I would think.

Yep and I have another question which may be extremely dumb. I just saw the delivery time frame and they are saying that it may take upto 3-4 weeks to dispatch any graphic card. So can I in the meanwhile put a GeForce 210 on b450 mortar to have display output untill my graphic card is sent to me?

I know this is the graphic card forum but reading all this should I opt of 3300x and go for 2600 ? Can't go for 3600 as I am already crossing my budget for 2060s instead of 2060

if u are gaming only 3300x is way better than the 2600.
