High frequency low CPU usage Ryzen 3700X

Go to solution Solved by boggy77,

it's normal. you're probably used to laptop cpus that go to lower frequencies to save battery.

Hi at all, i'm having an issue with my pc.

I don't know if i already got this problem but i just saw it after a clean reinstallation of windows 10.

Pc Specs:

CPU: AMD RYZEN 3700X

MB: ASUS X570 TUF GAMING PLUS   Bios Version: 1407

Ram: HyperX predator 3600mhz

GPU: Asus turbo 2080

CPU COOLER: h100i platinum

My pc can't go under the basic frequency of the cpu (3.6Ghz). I already checked the powerplan mode, tried to unistall and reinstall amd chipset, and reset bios removing battery.

On idle cpu is on 45/50 C° on corsair balanced perfomance on pump and fans.

I really don't know how can i fix this or is it normal?

Thank you
