Okay so I’m getting a MSI BM40 and AMD Ryzen 5 3600 but I’m not sure what ram to get.

my other specs - gigabyte triple fan Radeon 5600, Corsair RM 750 power supply , 500gb Samsung hdd , 2T Seagate SSD ,  I forgot the model but a Corsair hydro series liquid cooler, and a mid tower nzxt case.

2x8GB 3200Mhz@CL16 or 3600Mhz@CL18 (or better).

I tend to go G.Skill on AMD systems.

Keep in mind 750W is very much overkill for your system. 550W of that PSU type (RM550) would also work just fine.

P.S. I think you got the 'HDD' and 'SSD' backwards :P

If you have the budget something like a Samsung b die ram will go long way

But as @minibois said gskill has some good offerings like the aegis line up which is cheap and good lol

Something else like Corsair vengence is also pretty good

No, it's just a waste to get a larger PSU than needed.

You can just spend less on a lower wattage PSU and keep that money in your pocket/spend it elsewhere in your system.
