is my motherboard going to have a problem with my cpu?

ive heard about alot of problems with some mother boards needing older chips to do a bios update or something like that? after recieving my maximus xi hero wifi i even seen something in the reviews saying somebody had a similar problem am i going to have a problem??? I have already ordered an i9900k

depending on the board, it would depend on if they flashed the bios before shipping. if they didn't, it won't work with out an older gen to flash with. i would contact the company about an rma if it doesn't work out of the box, and you don't have an old gen to flash with.

okay i gotta get my gpu ordered too so i can test it everything before the time is up that i can ship it back to amazon. thank you very much
