Good morning,

Helping my brother build his first gaming PC. I prefer an Intel build. Looking to see you guys' opinion on this build and if there's any tweak you would do before I send it to him. The budget is $2K USD with the monitor. I left a bit of wiggle room for taxes.

Thanks in advance for your help.

For what purpose?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Don't buy Intel at the moment. The 9600K is a horrible value furnace. Get a 3600 - much faster performance, better thermals and MUCH lower power consumption

I will go with the 3600. Thank you @Slottr for tweaking the build and thank you @5x5 for the explanation. This will be my first time testing out an AMD build.

why intel, is there any particular thing he will be using his build for. Ryzen is so much better bang for buck at the moment.

As of now, he wants a gaming PC for Fortnite and COD. I am currently using an i5-9600k for my Gaming PC and never had an issue with it. I am going to give Ryzen a try. Maybe i'll switch my CPU in the future.

Go Ryzen its a no-brainer to be honest at this price point.

Assuming the cooler isn't ancient stock, it should come with a bracket
