Why these forums like reddit, etc don't have push to talk voice chat like whatsapp

user safety, security, it would become a literal shit show and nearly impossible to moderate

Because we're a text based forum.

It's the same reason we don't have chat-like messaging; it's not the main focus of a forum.

 

That's what a Discord is for (which LTT has a server and really most subReddits do too).
