bf4, ultra and 60fps? NO

In 1080P my friend gets that with a R9 270, so yes BF4 @60FPS in 1440P, i would argue yes. (ofcource there are drops, but on av, it is 60)

Spoiler

Case Bitfenix Ghost, Mobo Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, CPU i7 6700K @4.2 Ghz cooled by Arctic cooling Freezer i30, (barely). GPU Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 @1519Mhz core, RAM 16Gb Crucial Ballistix CL16 @2400Mhz. yes, my single gtx 780ti can play bf4, crysis3, Rome, shogun 2 maxed setting at 5760 x 1080p with an average of 75fps

there is more games im just not going to list them

Calling BS here. Dual 780Tis can't even max Crysis 3 at those FPS. And they also seem to struggle with BF4 when AA is turned on.

Would it be wise to get a second 780ti or wait till the 880 or 790

Probably not. You'll be getting good FPS with one. If you do find that it's not enough, just buy another later.

EDIT: Ohhhh, Silver badge changed (:

here i tell you what, BF4 is so unoptimized. if you want 60 fps, then go with R9 290X and use mantle.

i even see youtubers with 780ti running bf4 at not even max settings, 1080p, yet they still drop below 60fps

When 2 things meet each other, Quantum stuff happens.

Each of the games you mentioned are optimized for AMD graphic cards but an ASUS GTX 780Ti DCUII http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HSY1RVC should be able to achieve around 50-60 FPS at 1440p.

I'm running an ASUS R9 280X DCUII on ultra settings at 1080p and get between 50-60 FPS in BF4.

Cooler Master HAF XB EVO, ASUS Maximus VII Hero, i7-4790K @ 4.5GHz, Corsair H100i, EVGA GTX 980Ti SC, Corsair Vengeance Pro 2X8GB 1866Mhz CL9, 2X Crucial M500 960GB, EVGA SuperNOVA 1050 GS, ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q w/ nVidia 3D Vision 2

My 780 ti can run bf4 maxed at 1440p at about 55-60fps. If you can wait for next gen cards.
