Improving airflow on a NZXT H400

reVidix

Hello !

My system has gone recently into some issues i want to solve before upgrading to a new gpu

My gpu has become loud in the past few months and i wonder if it might be that i did a bad job with managing airflow when i built the system.

The specs are :

Case : NZXT H400

Mb: MSI B450M Mortar

Cpu : Ryzen 7 3700x

Ram: 4 x 8 Go Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 3000 Mhz Cas 15

cpu cooler : Corsair H100i Pro

Gpu : RTX 2060 Ventus OC

Psu : Be quiet Pure power 9 cm 600w

I put the radiadtor for the h100i in the front

I replaced the nzxt rear fan with a 120mm be quiet one and put 2 140mm be quiet fan in the top.

I have also an M.2, a sata ssd and regular hardrive, but i don't think those could impact heat inside the case much.

I clean the filters top, bottom and front on weekly basis.

Right now my airflow looks as in the photo.

What should i do to improve thermals/reduce noise and being able overall to have a much more power hungry gpu (planning to get either a 2080s or a 3080? depending on what nvidia annonces in the next few months ?)

Thanks you !

PS : english is not my native language, i'm sorry if there is any mistakes.

Yes, the 2 aio front fans are intake, the rear fan is exhaust and the two top fans are exhaust too

Don't mean to hijack the OP's thread but would like to ask if having this configuration should be fine:

• Two [2] Noctua NF-A14 as intake

• Noctua NH-U12S with dual NF-F12s (push-pull)

• One [1] Noctua NF-S12A for exhaust

The other components of the build will be the following:

• CPU - Ryzen 7 3700X

• MSI B450M Mortar Max

• Four [4] sticks of Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM

• Zotac GTX 1660 Super AMP
