Nvidia GTX 780 No screen/

Hi I have a NVIDIA GTX 780 founders, when I connect it up to my system, the fans spin up and it starts to get very loud and there is no sign of booting on the screen. I tried the Displayport, HDMI, and the DVI and nothing shows up on the monitor. Is it a bois problem or the hardware?

CPU:i7-4790

MOBO: ASUS H87M-E
