Tobsole

A friend of mine is has a wierd squeaking noise coming from the inside of his pc.

He is not able to pinpoint the exact location but belives its aroud the top left of the MB area and not near the HDD.

The noice apears randomly with 5-15 min delay between them.

Could be a form of coil whine coming from the CPU VRM inductors?

Does it get worse under load?

Tobso had a new PC

He'd used it for a week

And every time he used it, he heard an awful squeak

He took it by a PC geek who declared

He'd find the squeak before the week was through

Now the squeak is gone and Tobo's broke

900$ was the ticket

The geek put in a new cooling fan

And taken out the cricket

that's just the hamsters powering the computer. i suggest 3 in 1 oil

Still cant log into game on PC | Page 2 | DC Universe Online Forums3-IN-ONE Multi-Purpose Oil, 8 OZ: Sewing Machine Oil: Amazon.com ...

but seriously, unplug fans one by one to find the whine then replace the faulty fan

There is no enemy. The foe on the battlefield is merely the manifestation of that which we must overcome. The doubt, and fear, and despair. Every battle is fought within. Conquer the battlefield that lies inside you, and the enemy disappears like the illusion it is.
