Motherboard Guide

Is there some sort of motherboard choosing guide (or wizard) that will help me decide what motherboard is best for me?

Or you could comment your opinion. I want a Ryzen 5 3400G, probably will overclock, atleast 3000mhz (I will prefer not to overclock cause I am not very confident), no GPU, 1 NVME. I will be using it for general gaming and school work, which will include using stuff like Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Monitor I will probably upgrade down the line, it's 1080p 60hz.

Thanks for your help (if you help)

Why not get 1600 af and a used gpu? You can use this : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18aMZfSQFkVUQWjVt6RSFDh866D1wZlWAxSF7mAHWkbA/edit#gid=611478281

Those motherboards that have at least 2 check marks (or more) in the middle  columns are the ones you should consider getting.

And my dad said being able to talk to strangers is bad, I learn so much

If you will run the iGPU a lot, make sure it has strong SOC VRM cooling like the MSI B450 ATX boards and the Asrock Pro4. Those without good SOC VRM cooling will be like the B450M Pro VDH or Asrock B450-HDV (basically, lack of a decent heatsink on top of the SOC VRM)

OC-ing an APU calls for Asrock B450m Pro-4 (3 phase SoC VRM& efficient heatsink on the SoC VRM)

https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M Pro4/

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )
