Static Strips On Monitor

Hi,

I have an rx 580 and did a slight memory oc on it a while back. It was only +50 or something tiny like that but it started to make visual effects appear on-screen. When this happened I removed the oc and it went back to normal. About a week or two later the screen started briefly flickering black. It would happen about once a minute. That stopped and just a couple days later the screen locked up and had a grid of static across the screen. After turning of from the wall (power didn't do anything ) the static was in strips, that changed location when entering the bios. It has been failing to boot, even in safe mode. Any suggestions of what I could do? I also have my 7 3700x overclocked to 4.125, but have now disabled that as well.   It just booted normally as writing this, but will probably come back like the flickering

And what vdd do you have your cpu set to ?

Hi,

At the moment I can not boot and check to see the firmware and drivers of my gpu. I got my gpu around 2 months ago, and it is an rx 580. My cpu was set to 4.3 (can't remember voltage) and the rest was auto. My monitor is as old as my gpu. I use the included display port that came with my monitor. My monitor is the Asus Rog Swift PG278QR (27" 144hz 2560/1440). My GPU is still under warranty so I can take it back if I need to.

Something else just happened when attempting to boot. Instead of static lines there were red green and blue lines that disappeared when the mouse cursor ran over it.

Did you have by any chance over clock your GPU ?
