Dell MC545 fan pinout

zogthegreat

Hi everyone!

I have some Dell MC545/SanAce 9CRA0412G5038 fans that were originally from a Dell PowerEdge 1950 that I would like to repurpose. Does anyone have a link for the pinout on these fans?

Thanks!

Hi @Ben17Thanks, but my fans have a 12 pin connectors, (I'm assuming 6 for each fan). That's why I'm having trouble with them.

do your fans have the same colours for the wires as that table?

If they are then you can just connect onto them as if they're a normal fan

(chuckle) not only do they not match the the table, they don't match each other! That's why I'm asking before I start fiddling around and running power through them.

There are 2 fans per connector. They plug directly into the PowerEdge 1950 motherboard.
