The 10th gen i9 only exists on paper in my mind, with no benchmarks out there I don't think we can accurately judge it.

Likely it will be better in single core tasks, but it might also be out of stock for ages and way too expensive?

I'm sorry, but the question makes no sense. Products are almost never just flat out better than other products, let alone entire product lines. You can only tell what's better for a specific person in specific circumstances

We have no benchmarks whats so ever, so we can't judge. Currently Ryzen 3000 offers best when it comes to gaming, multitasking, streaming, editing and it a lower power consumption. 10th gen Intel looks good on paper, obviously it will be slightly good in single task performances, but I can't imagine the power draw these chips will do, also you'll need a beefier cooler.
