Minecraft using 30% gpu and cpu

Heyo, I recently started to play RLCraft with some mates and I saw I was only getting 50fps on the game with shaders and optifine installed. I have a i7-7700k at stock, and a gtx 1080 strix. My CPU is only using 30% and same with my GPU. Is there anything I can do to fix that?

is java updated ?

Try to install some optimization mods such as better fps or phosphor .

if u open task manager does it stress all cores at 30% or 1 or 2 cores at 100% and the rest are on idle ?

Your CPU is only at 30% because MC uses mainly one or two cores and the rest are at idle.

You'll notice there's a core probably near 100%.

all are at 30% ish but one is at like 70%

Yeah you should probably reinstall java as well as MC.

Thats normal for RLCraft. Its a very heavy modpack.

Try lowering your graphics settings and turning on the stuff under performance in the video settings.

Yup also the render distance ( the most important)

set it to 10 chunks max
