I was thinking about putting a raspberry pi in a mini itx case and using it as a geforce now pc any thoughts or suggestions

What OS do you need for Geforce now? As im pretty sure the Raspberry Pi will not run Windows.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Not possible at this point. There's work for porting android to the Pi4 but GPU doesn't work in it yet so...

 

Also mini ITX is massive for a Pi.

I think he means as a GeForce Now client, not the host system.

 

Also probably a bad idea for now. While Android exists for the Raspberry Pi 4, it had no hardware accelerated video last I checked, which is incredibly important for GeForce Now. Wait until it has that, then try it out. And why stick it in a mini itx case when it doesn't need to be that big?

I know it can run steam link. Since I have done it on one of my 4k tvs to allow streaming. So the capabilities are there.

yes you can run windows but the arm64 version

you will need a 16 gig sd card or bigger
