I get this weird problem about 1 time per month. I would start my computer and I would already hear my fans go to max power. Then I already know whats going on. Once I login I go to my Hardware settings and it would show that my CPU Temp is always between 80-100 while the usage is at under 10% all the time. I mean the computer just started not a single program is open (i have selected that no porgram auto starts when starting pc) and yet it shows that my CPU is such a high temperature. Even when I open up my PC and go close to the CPU with my hand its no where near as hot as its displayed. (CPU is watercooled). Then when restarting the pc I always get the msg that the PC cant start because CPU is too hot. (PC only starts and lets me login the first time I start my PC when this problem occurs. Then after an hour with the PC off the Problem magicly disappears and I can use my computer normaly with CPU temperature also normal. Then i dont have this problem again for about a month when it randomly comes back and so on. THis makes me think that the CPU temp reader is faulty or something? What could be the cause of this problem? I am pretty sure that my CPU isnt actually this hot and my pc just displays it wrongly and therefore acts like it is that hot and fans therefor are at my and pc doesnt let me start etc.

The cooler could be having pump issues. When you start it up can you hear or feel the pump running?

Yes the pump seems so run normal. Now 45min without me doing anything the Problem disappeared again. But will be back as usual in about a month

Have you ever updated your chipset drivers and BIOS? If it's a faulty sensor maybe it's on the software side.

yea everthing is up to date. jsut double check it. 100% has something got to do with the sensor
