Piracy usually isn't allowed here. Is there no "enter product key later" or "skip activation" button? Why don't you install Windows 10?

i have an acerapire 5251 and it can handle it it goes to 130 to 200F on boot so i dont want to kill it and windows 8 is very light even more than 7

If your laptop has an embedded code there's no way to bypass it (AFAIK). I have the same issue with mine, I bought a Win 10 Pro key as its running Home but I cannot get Windows to install without using the Home key embedded in my BIOS so it always ends in a "Cannot Activate, You're Using A Pro Key On A Device That Already Has A Home Key Registered" error. Its very frustrating TBH.

You should be able to skip the key and install the OS by just clicking Next when it asks you for a key without inputting anything.

Running Windows without a key is not piracy.

I understand this however, OP is trying to modify the operating system to make it think it's activated.

No, he's trying to make the OS ignore the UEFI embedded key and he's using a method created by Microsoft to do it. Slipstreaming information into Windows using an answer file has been around since Windows 2000 (possibly even earlier), its use case is large business who might have thousands of machines, they can create one image with all the info stored in the answer file and image every machine with one file. It DOES NOT circumvent activation.

Yeah, so use windows 10.

If you want something even more lightweight then use linux, not windows.

Search for "discord linux" or "____ linux" to see if they have programs that run on linux.

If not, use windows 10, it's better than 8.
