Building a PC for my dad - case ideas

My dad wants my help building him a PC that's basically going to be put inside a steel cage on a wall. He doesn't care for looks, which makes picking parts easy for me. The only bit I'm struggling with is case ideas. I think he'll want something that can be run quietly (so more likely a larger case) and is easy to add more HDDs/SSDs to if required. He doesn't need any 5 1/4 inch bays. But honestly, his main requirement is cheap.
