@dpers

200 watts should be enough  providing no overclock on GPU and CPU. Also plenty of ventilation as I presume it is a small form factor case.

Here is the link to Nvidia's Website on specs and required power.

You can get good SFX PSUs for cheap as well as a CX430 for 25$. Why risk with such low power?

In portugal that power supply cost 40 euros and the money is tight

I would assume that in a prebuilt machine, they would have certified that everything is fully functional before they brought it to market..

Regardless, 200W should be plenty for an i3 and a 750ti, just as long as you don't have a ton of 10000 RPM HDDs and have an aggressive OC on the CPU and GPU..

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

You are really pushing it across the edge, it might work but no guarantee. Especially in the long run.

I always say this I can't understand why people would jeopardize those parts and not wait a week or two for a bit more cash.

getting a cheap psu from a prebuilt system and adding to it is one of the worst things you can do. 200w is fine, but does it actually give 200w?

It's better to spend a bit more knowing that the PSU is reliable than spending nothing on it and lots on a GPU, then it blowing up and frying the components.

then you're out on a GPU AND a PSU. (maybe more)

I'm sure the 750ti costs a fair amount so you should be able to afford a slightly more reliable PSU with that money.

I'm sure you can find something man, I dont really know much about mini PSU's but a few extra euros can go a long way in terms of safety. Or think of it this way, do you really want your pc to be like one of those upside down triangle body builders?

I would be weary of that psu. How old is it? Open it up and have a look at all the components. Look for any signs of damage (i.e. plastic starting to melt or sag). Remove any dust if there is any. Lots of dust would make me feel more weary too.

The thing is, it will work but you are going to be pushing close to 200W when you play demanding games. The cpu & gpu will be pushing out around 125W @ full load. 1 x HDD will be approx 10W. That with 2 - 3 fans with maybe 5W each will be around 150W in total.

Now you don't want to be pushing your psu to 200W either so you should be okay at the 150W limit but adding anything else and you will have a problem. I would use it for now, but start saving for a new one now! (or second hand one that is from a reputable brand)
