So heres what my build looks like so far

Only some of my parts have gotten here so far, but earlier this morning the case came so I figured I'd start trying to put together a bit of what I could. So far I have the Mobo, CPU, Fans, and Case.

I spent WAYYY too long trying to get the dang front headers connected. This case is sooo small, and I've got big hands. In the end I had to use needle nose pliers to hold the single pin connectors while trying to push them into the front IO pins on the motherboard lol, it was rough. But so far, I don't think it looks too bad.

The rest of the parts should be coming 1 by 1 throughout the week. I'm still waiting on my PSU, GPU, RAM, and SSD. Hopefully by this weekend I'll have everything and can finish it up.

It's an Antec VSK10 Window. It's really small, but if I can fit everything inside and do some decent cable management, then I think in the end it will come out looking pretty nice.

I would recommend booting the system without using the case plugs, put your GPU in and test before you cable up everything else, saves the hassle of troubleshooting later.

 

Just touch the power pins on the board with the screwdriver tip to boot.

 

So basically this:

 

  • Plug in your 24 PIN connector
  • Plug in 8 PIN CPU connector
  • Install RAM
  • Install GPU
  • Plug in GPU connectors
  • Short the power pins to see if it boots

After you do that you can worry about the front panel connections after.

Don't forget to not close the side panel after you're building before booting it up! 😁
