Can i mirror 2 pairs of striped volume so it makes RAID10?

Using windows 7 or 10 disk management, can I do that?

Also, proceed to page 2 if you want to set up a RAID from BIOS. Remember, different motherboard has different method on assigning RAID on SATA storage.

Mirror 2 pairs of striped volume is actually RAID 01. Raid 10 is stripped within 2 pairs of mirrored disk. They, although almost the same in many ways, but uses different method. For RAID 01, the data is mirrored to all groups of stripped drives. For RAID 10, the data is stripped to groups of mirror drive. The main difference is that RAID 01 are more prone to fail than RAID 10, for if a disk in stripped group failed, it will fail as part of the data could no longer be recovered in the RAID, but if a disk in mirror group fail, the data is still intact as all HDD in the mirror group will have identical data.
