I have a i7 9700k with a regular 2070 and was wondering if it was worth the upgrade to a 2070super or 2080 and which one should I choose. Thanks

I mean if you already have a 2070 I don't see many scenarios where it's worth the hassle of trying to sell a 2070 and then paying a bit more for a super or a 2080. What do you need the extra power for?

Do you need the like 15% jump in performance?

On 4K a 2070 to 2070S is going from just under 60fps to a but over..

But IMO, not worth it.

Save yourself a little cash and just get the Super. 

My Rig

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X

GPU: Radeon RX580/8gb OC 

MOBO: B450 Tomahawk 

RAM: 16gb GSKILL RipJaws (2x8gb)

PSU: EVGA 750w platinum

Keyboard: Logitech G513 Carbon 

Mouse: Corsair Harpoon

I have an easy three step process for you on how you should handle this:

 

Step 1: get a non founders super

Step 2: overclock the non founders super

Step 3: profit

 

Or you could just wait till the RTX 30xx release and upgrade to a 30xx GPU if it's not price gouged like the 20xx series was.
